This annual Europe-wide competition among all US Forces community theater programs is our regional equivalent to the Tony awards. An international panel of professional judges spent six weeks travelling Europe from tip to tail, watching every production entered in the competition. The official judging period was from the end of February to the beginning of April.

This year's judges:

Paul Bourne - Artistic Director of the Menagerie theatre company and Center Stage, New York. He has presented numerous acting and directing workshops for the US Forces community theater programs in recent years.

Ted Strickland - Managing Director, Portland stage Company; former Executive and Artistic Director of the Chattanooga Theatre Center; and Associate Executive Director of the Midland (TX) Community Theatre.

David Young - currently teaching at University of Florida; formerly worked at the Kennedy Center, where among his other duties, he ran the American College Theatre Festival.

James Sohre - currently the Entertainment Director for Headquarters, United States Army, Europe, overseeing training and development of community music and theatre programs at US Army installations throughout Europe.
