Our Guest Director: Mr. R. John Roberts (Richard) comes to Heidelberg
from Chicago, and we are thrilled he was able to join us at Roadside.
He comes with extensive directorial credits in Memphis, Dallas
and Chicago. His recent production of "How I Learned To
Drive" was a critical success at the Frump Tucker Theater
Company in Chicago. He has also served as Artistic Director for
the THEM Theater Company, Chicago, and The Actors Stock Company,
Dallas. Also an actor, Richard has spent the past two summers
as a core company member of Summer Shakespeare at Nore Dame, playing
Baptista in "The Taming of the Shrew" and Leonato
in "Much Ado About Nothing." Some of his favorite
roles include Hysterium in "A Funny Thing . . Forum,"
both Freddie and Lloyd in "Noises Off," and George
Bernard Shaw in "by and about: GBS" (and original
one-act).
