To everyone who auditioned for HONK!,
First, I want to thank you all very much for your time, talent and interest. You gave me a lot of choices to make.
The turn-out at auditions was wonderful and more than I'd hoped for. 75 people auditioned for what is really written for only twelve parts. I cast 40 people and wish I had room for more.
Please remember, as I said in the auditions, I was looking for a group of actors for the show. Not just specific people and specific roles. With so many to choose from I was able to find a group to form a great ensemble.
If you were not cast, please do not be discouraged. Everyone did a wonderful job. I invite you to please audition for us again. We have a whole new season coming up next year with even more opportunities to get on stage.

We are still waiting for materials to arrive from New York, so I am not able to announce a definite first rehearsal for music. I will be in touch with you all very shortly as to the exact day that will begin. Full staging rehearsals will still begin on 1 April.
