A “Broadway in Concert” One Act Musical
Cast & Crew Photo
This joyous and inspirational musical will be the Roadside Theater entry in the 2006 IMA-E Festival of One Act Plays, hosted at the Roadside on Oct. 6-8, 2006 (performance date and time TBA). We are pleased to present three special preview performances for our Roadside audiences. This heartfelt musical, freely based on the Bible story of Noah and his ark, takes a look at parents, children and faith... not to mention centuries of unresolved family business!
It is a frank and often humorous examination of the age-old conflict between parents and children. Noah, his family and the “Father” who created them deal with the headstrong, cataclysmic actions of their respective children. The show ultimately delivers a bittersweet but inspiring message: that "the hardest part of love... is letting go."
An expansive, ambitious musical - a rich score [with] pageantry and sweep. - L.A. Times
An affectionate show with a large heart -- Stylish, entertaining and often moving. - Roanoke Times
