This international sensation chronicles the hilarious events among three friends when one of them purchases a wildly expensive work of art. A gradually escalating argument develops with the second friend, while the third tries to arbitrate the dispute - but in trying to appease them both, he inflames the quarrel which forces all three men to re-examine the value and motivations behind their friendships.
