Roadside Theater proudly hosts the
1999 Ford Festival
of One-Act Plays

Mr James Sohre, of the HQ USAREUR Entertainment Branch, has once again organized the regional one-act play festival. US Forces theater departments from throughout Europe will bring their best productions to this festival of short dramas, comedies, and musicals. Each show will be judged and openly critiqued by an international panel of professional judges, and the weekend will include workshops in acting, music, and directing. Admission to all activities is free to the public.
Performances are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday, October 8, and run Friday night and all day Saturday until all shows have been presented (10 a.m. - 10 p.m.). Sunday will be filled with free workshops and special events (10 a.m. - 6 p.m.) . The awards ceremony will be held at approximately 7:15 p.m. Sunday night.

NOTE FOR LOCAL PARTICIPANTS NOT CONNECTED TO THE MILITARY: In view of increased security measures that will likely still be in place during the Ford Festival, it will be the responsibility of each participating community to sign their non-ID card holders on and off Heidelberg installations during the weekend events. Members of the local public who would like to attend should contact us a few days before your arrival so we can add your name to our guestlist at the gate.
