Overseas US Forces theater departments (Europe and Korea) bring their best productions to this annual regional festival of short dramas, comedies, and musicals. This festival also biannually determines the Region 10 entry into the American Association of Community Theater (AACT) National Festival. After each performance, the show is judged and openly critiqued by an international panel of professional theatre adjuticators. The weekend also includes workshops in acting, music, and directing; a monologue competition; and a guest performance.
Admission to all activities is free to the public.NOTE FOR LOCAL PARTICIPANTS NOT CONNECTED TO THE MILITARY: In view of increased security measures that will likely still be in place during the Festival, it will be the responsibility of each participating community to sign each of their non-ID card participants on and off Heidelberg installations during the weekend events (this includes US Passport holders). Members of the local Heidelberg public who would like to attend should contact us at least five days before your arrival so we can add your name to our guestlist at the gate.
Here is the schedule thus far. More entries and changes will be announced as they are received.
