2000 Festival Schedule. Here are the entries and workshops as scheduled thus far. More entries and changes will be announced as they are received.
NOTE FOR LOCAL PARTICIPANTS NOT CONNECTED TO THE MILITARY: In view of increased security measures that will likely still be in place during the Festival, it will be the responsibility of each participating community to sign each of their non-ID card participants on and off Heidelberg installations during the weekend events. Members of the local Heidelberg public who would like to attend should contact us a few days before your arrival so we can add your name to our guestlist at the gate.

Workshops
10:30 - 12:00 Dynamic Readers Theatre Programming. Vanita Rae Smith shares ideas and production tips on this low-cost, easy to produce high return theatrical genre.
13:00-13:30 Monologue Adjutication. The seven best monologues from the monologue workshop running Saturday will compete for top honors.
13:30-14:30 "Virtually New! Virtually Musical! Virtually Cool!" Music Theatre International staff will demonstrate and provide training in their new"Virtual Orchestra" software/hardware program.
14:30-15:15 "Stage Management Made Easy" AACT's John Sullivan gives a crash course on effectively organizing and managing a production.
15:15-16:30 "Acting and the Hagen Exercises" Marc Durso, one of the nation's leading teachers, shares a wealth of experience and industry anecdotes in a participation session.
17:30 Guest Performance: "The Last Night Of Ballyhoo" Readers Theatre production by Army Community Theater, Fort Shafter, Hawaii.
Awards Ceremony immediately following the Fort Shafter production.
Monologue Workshop and Ajudication
Paul Bourne will once again conduct a monologue workshop by appointments only. Participants must come to the Festival with a 3 - 5 minute monologue prepared. Mr. Bourne will coach each participant, and he then will choose the seven top monologues to compete on Sunday in front of the Festival judges.
